The DCIEM Diving Tables and Manuals were developed by the Canadian Forces Experimental Diving Unit at the Defence and Civil Institute of Environmental Medicine (DCIEM) in Toronto, Canada. DCIEM's name has changed to Defence R&D Canada - Toronto, but the diving tables and manuals will retain the DCIEM name. DRDC Toronto http://www.toronto.drdc-rddc.gc.ca is world renowned for its diving expertise. The results of its research over several decades are consolidated into an algorithm that is used in the DCIEM Manuals and Sport Diving Tables. The Original Version - includes sections on general and special procedures such as Standard Air Decompression, In-water Oxygen Decompression, Emergency Decompression, Nitrogen-Oxygen and Helium-Oxygen.
